There’s an argument to be made about sudden stardom and the long term affects it can have on a thespian, but rarely do those same concerns apply when talking about the classically trained UK actress Naomie Harris. Her stunning beauty and charming smile has garnered her much attention from Tinsel town’s big wigs, but her down to earth nature has made her a fan favorite. She has slowly built a resume like a who’s who in Hollywood, just without all of the glitter.

Not surprisingly, she worries about the day it could all end and with much reservation.

“I’m hesitant when discussing the whole experience; it still feels unreal a bit. Therefore, I find myself carefully enjoying the moment. And I think that’s a part of my overall personality, I worry! There are times during post production where I’ll be worried about my performance and how the audience will embrace my character, which can go well past the films run. I’m my worst critic.”

Part of her many accomplishments involved graduating from Cambridge with a degree in social and political science, perhaps a career in politics after film. But until then she’s determined to earn her stay on the big screen.
